Indonesia vs Palestine in Manahan Solo August 22, 2011

JAKARTA- General Secretary of the Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI) Tri Goestoro said the friendly match between the national football team against the Palestinian football team will take place at Manahan Stadium, Solo, Central Java.

"We have confirmation, possibly in Solo on 22 August," he said in his office in Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, Jakarta, Wednesday (10 / 8).

Previously, Tri said that the friendly match was held in Jakarta, because currently the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium have been renovated. The new grass at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium will be ready to use next September.

The match will held as part of preparation for the national team competing in the third qualifying round, Pre-2014 World Cup Asian Zone. Five days later, the team scheduled will play against Jordan. In preliminary Pre-World Cup 2014, Indonesa are in Group E along with Iran, Bahrain, and Qatar.
